Job description
The successful applicant will work as part of a team in the diagnosis of animal diseases and laboratory research studies related to the development of animal vaccines.
The individual selected for this position will be expected to participate in routine diagnostic testing including ELISA, immunofluorescence assays and neutralisation tests along with general laboratory support duties. The successful applicant will also be expected work in our containment level 4 laboratory after completing the necessary course of immunisations, theoretical and practical training. Compliance with Good Laboratory Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice and ISO:17025 will be required at all times.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a lab team working in a busy commercial environment. Highers (or equivalent) in English, Maths and a science are the minimum requirements for this position. Experience of working in an ISO:17025, GLP or GMP accredited laboratory would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary: £21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
