Hours of Work: Hours are generally 9:30am - 6:30pm (may vary)
MUST be able to work on Friday Saturday and Sunday.
- WAGE
£10.80 Dependant on Experience.
- ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for like-minded, enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team at the Front of House (FOH). It can be a fast paced environment but a fun place to work. No previous experience is required as you will be trained and supervised from day one. We just require a keen attitude and a willingness to learn.
- THE TEAM
You will be joining a team of 5 - 6 friendly Team Members who will all help to settle you in and enjoy your time here. The store is owned by a Franchisee with 10+ years of experience in this industry. For your day to day tasks, you will be reporting to our Manager who has been with us for 4 years.
- MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Preparing the shop before opening
· Maintaining front of house cleanliness throughout the day
· Working in conjunction with our back of house team members to maintain the Cake Box standards
· Keeping a check on the quality of cakes leaving the shop
· Greet and deal with customer’s requests with a smile
· Serve customers and take payments using the cash register and card machine
· Taking cake orders from customers
· Answering the phone
· Learning how to write messages on cakes
· Boxing cakes and slices correctly
· Cashing up at the end of each day
· End of day cleaning with all staff, including mopping the floor
- SKILLS REQUIRED
Computer literate
Good oral and written communication
Good people skills
