We are looking for someone that is enthusiastic, committed and prepared to work hard, who would like a secure future with a growing manufacturing company specialising in medical engineering.
Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
· Meeting and greeting all clients, visitors, and staff courteously.
· Answering calls affably and efficiently, taking clear and detailed messages when necessary, and redirecting to the correct department.
· Keeping the reception area/office tidy, at all times
· Maintaining a clean kitchen environment – Twice Daily
· Receiving and distributing all incoming mail to the correct department.
· Dispatching jobs using our chosen courier service – Also, following up should any problems arise
· Arranging flights and travel accommodation
· Exhibition administration
· Booking meeting rooms and organising refreshments for customer visits
· Organising meeting schedules for Exhibitions
· Organising staff events
· Producing purchase orders and providing support to the Purchasing Department
· Ensuring stationary levels are monitored and replenished
· Providing support to the Sales, Marketing & Accounts Department
· Placing staff uniform orders when necessary
· Updating the company calendar
· General Ad-hoc Duties, including scanning, filing, shredding and creating dispatch labels
This is a full-time position; the hours of work are:-
· Monday-Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm
· Friday 8:30am – 2:00pm
You will be entitled to 20 days holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays)
Qualifications / Skills / Requirements:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a clear telephone manner
· Competent with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
· Experience using Sage 200 preferably, but not essential
· Excellent Organisational skills
· Smart/presentable appearance
· Friendly, confident manner
