About Priory Roehampton:
Set back within landscaped gardens, the tranquil environment of the Priory Hospital Roehampton offers calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 100 service users, as well as day care and outpatient services.
Specialising in the management and treatment of mental health problems including addictions and eating disorders, our multidisciplinary team deliver personalised treatment programmes and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.
The Private Adult Service, which the successful candidate would join, is made up of three wards offers general psychological care/support to a service user population of up to 45.
Reporting to the Clinical Psychologist, the successful candidate will be attached to one of our the three private wards within the hospital, however able to support colleagues when needed.
They will be joining an excellent experienced team, determined to deliver succesful treatment based on outcomes.
As an Assistant Psychologist you will work with alongside the psychology team to support and enhance the professional psychological care and assessment of individuals we support. To work and assist in the delivery of psychological services as directed, and under supervision.
This will include inducting patients to our therapy programme, attending Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings, support the mental and emotional as well as social well-being of service user, undertake protocol based psychological assessments, assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment, delivery and review of therapy groups, independent on-to-one key work sessions, discharge planning, support and contribute to the training and support of other staff.
