Job description

Our friendly, supportive, Maternal Mental Health Service is looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join the team. Working with women and families who have been affected by birth trauma, loss in the maternity context, or tokophobia, this post offers the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in a family focused specialism. To support the delivery of psychological interventions for women and families who have been referred to the service, across each pathway (birth trauma, loss, and tokophobia), offering psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the close supervision of a registered Applied Psychologist. This will require liaison with the wider maternity system, development and delivery of group based interventions, and psychological interventions under the guidance of the supervising Psychologist. To assist in clinically related administration, development of resources, conduct of audits, collection of clinical data, administration of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work as required.
