Assistant Psychologist - Band 4 - Permanent, Full-Time post - 1.0 WTE
Inpatient Services
Brooklands Hospital, Marston Green, Birmingham
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust has an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to work in our Inpatient Services for people with Intellectual (Learning) Disabilities and Autism. There are six specialist services on the Brooklands Hospital site, providing inpatient assessment and treatment services to adults (men and women) and young people with an Intellectual Disability. There is also an Autism service that will be moving into a brand-new building due to an expansion of the service. It is a Centre of Excellence and further services are currently in development on site for people with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism.
Your role will be to provide support to the qualified Clinical team in delivering a high quality psychology service within some of the inpatient services, working in a multi-disciplinary team and engaging with young people and adults with complex needs and who can display a range of behavioural challenge. These are busy professional roles in which energy, initiative and reflective practice are vital.
