Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist senior associates in Divorce & Finance cases as well as Private Children’s Law Cases.
2. Draft court applications, witness statements, and complete Form E's with precision.
3. Prepare, organize, and manage case bundles.
4. Take comprehensive notes during client meetings, court hearings, and other essential sessions.
5. Onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into our firm.
6. Manage and run divorce-only cases independently.
7. Represent the firm at low-level hearings, including FHDRA and DRA appointments.
8. Perform weekly check-ins with clients to keep them informed and address any concerns.
9. Manage and respond to low-level correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
10. Follow up on new customer quotations, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- A law degree with a minimum grade of 2:1.
- Successful completion of the Legal Practice Course (LPC).
- A minimum of 1-year commercial experience in a family law department, specifically assisting on Divorce & Finance cases and Private Children’s Law Cases.
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to draft legal documents and handle cases with minimum supervision.
- Comprehensive understanding of family law, especially in areas of Divorce & Finance and Private Children’s Law.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Excellent diary and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
- Keen interest in representing clients during court hearings and a desire to build courtroom experience.

Salary: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
