Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team
1 x Band 5 Assistant Psychologist; Fixed Term 6 month Contract
We are looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist who is keen to work with adults with complex mental health problems in the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT). CRHTT is a city wide service, which offers support to people who are experiencing a mental health crisis. The CRHTT is an alternative to hospital admission and we work as a multi-disciplinary team to offer short-term support to the person in crisis and also their family members/carers. The CRHTT is a passionate, dedicated and busy service that is keen to continuously improve the care and experience of service users in crisis.
You will join a vibrant multi-disciplinary team and be closely supported and supervised by the Principal Clinical Psychologist and wider CRHTT leadership team. There are well-established Clinical Psychologists within acute services who are able to offer support and professional development. Acute services are undergoing wide ranging developments in psychological provision and you would have opportunities to be influential in the change process.
To apply for this post you must have a minimum of a second class honours degree or higher in psychology and evidence of eligibility for graduate basis registration with the BPS. You must also have experience of working with people with complex mental health problems, preferably within a mental health setting.
