We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with knowledge and an interest in the area of Paediatric Diabetes. The applicant will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to work well as part of a team. Applicants must have excellent written and communication skills. They will also have good computer skills and competence in using digital technology. A Valid driving license is essential for this post.
This is an exciting time to join our team within the Clinical Health Psychology department which provides input into a number of services. We are currently recruiting into the Paediatric Diabetes Team which provides specialist assessment, formulation and intervention for those children with Diabetes up to the age of 18. Duties include attending regular MDT clinics, 1:1 sessions, Neuropsychological assessments and service development working alongside the Clinical Psychologist.

The successful candidate will work within a team contributing to the care of children with Diabetes under the supervision of qualified psychologists. You will liaise with colleagues in health, education, social care and the voluntary sector as directed and required. The successful post holder will maintain a 1:1 caseload as well as taking part in weekly MDT diabetes clinics. They will have opportunities to complete neuropsychology assessments such as the WISC.
