Psychological therapy services across BDCFT are eager to recruit enthusiastic and reliable Assistant Psychologists to support the delivery of high-quality services across the Trust.
The current vacancies benefit from being part of our assistant psychology rotation which aims to support Assistant Psychologists to gain a breadth of experience by working into different service areas across time (rotating yearly or every 2 years depending on the needs of the specific service with which you commence your employment).
The current available positions will be based within the Older Adult Mental Health Service and will involve providing input into both the Memory Assessment and Treatment Service, as well as the wider Community Mental Health Team. The post will be part of a well established Multi Disciplinary Team and supervised by a qualified Clinical Psychologist.

All Assistant Psychologists working in BDCFT are supported via induction, clinical supervision with a HCPC Practitioner Psychologist, and ongoing CPD to develop knowledge and skills commensurate with the requirements of their post; typically neuropsychological assessment and intervention skills, psychological skills work with individuals and in groups and service support with audit and research initiatives.
