Job description

Strata SE1 is a well-known building situated in Elephant and Castle run by a resident Board of Directors, all with expertise in different areas of the company’s operations. It has recently provided notice to its managing agent and seeks bring these services in house to ensure they are efficient and a good value for money. These will be overseen at a Board level with a consultant within the industry.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a self-motivated, experienced property manager to look after a Strata SE1. Working as part of the Property Management team, you will assist in the delivery of high-quality management services, ensuring professional management and excellent customer service is delivered at all times.

YOUR ROLE

· Deal directly with leaseholders, The Board of Directors and any agents with an interest in the property.

· Ensure that telephone, e-mail and written queries from clients, residents, contractors etc. receive timely and appropriate responses

· Working alongside our Concierge and Senior Management team to oversee planned, reactive, and remedial maintenance services through to completion across your developments

· Working alongside our Fire and H&S Consultants to manage and procure the remediation for all aspects of compliance and health & safety.

· Setting accurate budgets and overseeing the financial management of your developments

· Overseeing major works projects as required

· Effectively managing contractors to deliver high quality services and good value for money for customers

· Attend resident meetings, working flexibly and sometimes outside office hours to meet at a time and place to suit our clients

· Maintaining excellent client relationships, providing regular updates and reports as required

· Attending and contributing to team meetings and business-wide initiatives as required

· Financial tracking and budget setting.

YOUR SKILLS & QUALITIES

· Strong administration and organisation skills

· Excellent IT skills including use of Microsoft Office

· Positive attitude and proactive approach to problem solving

· Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines

· Attention to detail and good analytical skills

· Excellent written communication skills

· Good verbal communication skills in dealing with stakeholders

· Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative and work within a team

YOUR EXPERIENCE

· Previous experience working in a similar role within the residential property industry

· IRPM qualified – desirable

· Experience of managing site staff

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00 per year
