Croydon Council is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to provide administrative and business support to the Director for Housing; Regeneration, and the New Supply
The successful candidate will play a key role in making a difference to the lives of our residents. Following a spotlight news report in 2021, on conditions at one of the Council’s blocks in South Norwood, Croydon’s Housing Service has embarked on an improvement journey as part of our commitment to delivering better services for our residents. With a new leadership team, a new direction and a strong desire to make things better, we are now looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the directorate’s mission to work with residents, partners and businesses to provide safe and warm homes in thriving, sustainable and inclusive communities.
The Assistant Project Manager will play a vital role in delivering an exciting and ambitious 10 – year property rebuilding and refurbishing programme as part of the Council’s Housing Investment Programme. Their responsibilities will include; organising meetings, taking minutes and ensuring action points are followed up, gathering and analysing data to provide progress reports on the delivery of projects and supporting the Housing Projects Team in delivering their programme plans and objectives.
This position offers scope for flexible working, although the role is office-based.
