The team
The Green Heat Installer Engagement team is part of the Home Energy Scotland team at Energy Saving Trust. Home Energy Scotland (HES) is an advice service funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Energy Saving Trust that provides expert advice on energy efficiency to thousands of householders each year.
The Green Heat Installer Engagement team provides support to installers working in the energy efficiency and heating sectors so householders can find qualified installers across Scotland.
The role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team in Scotland. You will be a key player working with Energy Saving Trust colleagues and stakeholders, providing project management and operational support for the delivery of the Green Heat Installer Engagement programme being delivered on behalf of the Scottish Government.
What you’ll do
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you’ll project manage the planning, delivery and finances of specific projects or key elements within projects as part of the team’s overall programme of work, including procurement and contractor management.
Project managing the delivery of a series of webinars and events with programme partners and in accordance with the Scottish Government work plan. The purpose of these events and webinars are to raise awareness of the programme, and the opportunities available to Scottish installer/suppliers.
You will own and develop relationships with key stakeholders and will identify opportunities for growth of the team’s work, provide input to proposals and build capacity and competencies within the team.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone with previous project management experience, who has excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
You will have the ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with stakeholders. You need to be resilient, and able to work under pressure and to motivate the team to meet challenging targets.
This is a permanent position. Our standard weekly hours are 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
This will need to be a full-time role.
We are open to flexible working locations (within Scotland) and as standard we offer all contracts on blended (home and office-based) working.
