POSITION: Manufacturing Technology Engineer II
LOCATION: 455 Forest St, Marlboro, MA, 01752
Duties: Analyze process and product data to identify product consistency improvement opportunities. Initiate the improvement opportunities and drive it with manufacturing and strategic partners. Work with cross functional teams (supply chain, production, marketing etc.) to facilitate and monitor PCN (process change notification) batches. Address customer RFAs and complaints on commercial products. Also work closely with customer and drive improvement project in the assigned product portfolio. Work with process change owners (manufacturing, supplier, quality, strategic partners etc.) to assess the impact of proposed changes and drive towards risk mitigation. Implement preventative and corrective modifications to existing product and processes based on the findings of RCI (root cause analysis). Collaborate with Analytical lab or Fab lab to evaluate testing for process control and quality control. 10% travel required for client visits.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study and two years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have two years of experience in each of the following skills: chemical manufacturing or production engineering; statistical data analysis using JMP; project management including implementing changes to the manufacturing process, and identifying raw material improvements; batch chemical processing experience; designing and troubleshooting of filtration processes; and demonstrated hands-on abilities with product formulation, analytical data analysis, batch manufacturing and design of experiments.
