Job title: Assistant Planner – Libraries
Location: Portsmouth Naval Base. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £31,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintain planning libraries and ensure they are updated with the correct information
- Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is gathered to allow for effective planning activities.
- Undertake low level planning tasks using pre-existing libraries
- Ensure all pre-requisites are met to allow Service Orders to be progressed.
- Create work packs ready for production this includes but not limited to printing drawings documents, reference material etc.
- Confirming work instructions have the correct pre-requisites to complete the task with all correct document references including clear instructions.
- Assist all areas of the Planning Team as requested by the Planning Operations Manager.
- Create and maintain, with guidance any work scope spreadsheets as deemed necessary.
- Raise Change Request Notifications as directed.

- Strong administration skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong IT skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to work by yourself

You will be joining a diverse, open and dynamic team of Production Planners and Assistant Production Planners. This is an interesting role for someone how enjoys getting into the detail, maintenance of work packages and systems. This role would suit someone who possesses the ability to work both on their own and as part of a wider team. There is scope for progression both within the role and the wider business as a whole.
