This 105-bedroom Aberdeenshire hotel is renowned as one of the best Scottish wedding venues, accommodating up to 250 guests, making it one of the few hotels in Peterhead big enough to adequately host the big day in style. The Ballroom is suitable for both business and leisure, with its 250-seat capacity and integral dance floor. Guests looking to host a more informal dinner party, on the other hand, might prefer The Macdonald Suite which can cater for up to 60 people.
We are looking to recruit a Full-Time Assistant Operations Manager. You will be responsible for:
- Support the operations manager in all aspects of running the hotel
- Monitor and action feedback received through guest satisfaction survey, 3rd party websites and from clients after events and resolve any client disputes and complaints in a professional manner
- Work in co-operation with other departments, developing and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues
- Deputising in the absence of the General Manager
- Ensure the hotel complies with regards to H&S, Employment and Licensing
The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising the operations of a hotel containing 100 bedrooms or more. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are also required for this role. This position is available on a full-time contract
