What you'll do
We are currently looking for a talented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Kidswear team. You will be part of a function that are responsible for driving the vision and ambition of the M&S brand forward. We are looking for someone who is passionate and driven to achieve best in class Marketing activations across Kidswear and wider Marketing activations. You will work as part of an enthusiastic and fast paced team, delivering brand perception changing Marketing activity for M&S.
- Drive the vision & ambition of the M&S brand forward with your team and those around you for Kidswear and XBU activations
- Ensuring customer insight is at the heart of everything we do; understanding our customer motivations and drivers to imbed and deliver against relevant plans
- Drive the development, coordination and delivery of marketing activity for Business units
- Ensure the brand marketing strategy is being laddered up to through all marketing touchpoints
- Collaborating and managing stakeholders with all relevant wider marketing teams including; Creative & Design, Production, Planning, Copy, VM, Owned & Paid Channels, Dot Com, PR, working as one team to drive the marketing agenda. In addition to wider business stakeholders.
- Lead on marketing shoots including all prep & sample management, being the representative for the brand and product expert when on set
- Lead on PIRs and recommendations for future activity
Who you are
- Experience in a Marketing role, preferably fashion
- Strong understanding of brand marketing development & delivery – across both physical & online touchpoints and platforms
- Knowledge of the fashion, retail & marketing landscape, as well as passion to always learn & explore
- Strong organisational skills & stakeholder management with a customer focus
- Effective influencing skills with excellent attention to detail
- Performance reporting, analytical understanding & commercial acumen
- Team player, ability to collaborate and work alongside peer group
