About us
DAPP UK is a small established Charity with a few different locations within the UK.
We aim to provide support to development projects focused on the relief of poverty, education and the development of the poorer populations.
We tackle the environmental issues by turning textile and clothes waste in funds for development and promoting a more sustainable way of living and of shopping by reuse.
We militate for a slow fashion wardrobe and buying from charity shops should become a fashion choice and a statement to protect the environment and keep the preloved textile from creating more waste.
We are working with both volunteers and employees. Our Assistant Managers are driven, passionate people with an interest in fashion and management skills who can create a lovely shopping atmosphere for our customers and donors .
Our Assistant Shop Manager is passionate, reliable, commited; able to cultivate a great work environment, reach targets and execute daily retail operations to the highest standards whilst offering our customers an amazing fashion experience.
Your tasks:
- Executing day to day retail operations in store e.g. key holding, scheduling, stock/delivery, admin, banking, housekeeping
- Act as a key holder and assume responsibility for the store together with the Area Operations Manager
- Ensure that all sales targets and results are reached and communicated, and all staff are aware and work towards achieving the set goals
- Assist with with the Employment, training and assessment of staff
- Ensure maximum stock availability and ensure smooth daily shop restocking
- Present and maintain the highest standards of shop merchandising and visual layout
- Implement and monitor excellent level of customer service
- Analyse and prepare reports of KPIs
