HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity:
You'll join us in Group Finance Support (GFS), a team of c300 colleagues within the Finance Division, providing centralised support and expertise to the rest of Finance and the Business.
This role sits within the Commercial Banking Financial Control and Reporting team in Group Finance Support, who are responsible for the financial control activity, reconciliation and basis of substantiation of Finance data, within Lloyds Banking Group.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven, forward thinking candidate to support the FTE and Cost reporting and planning for GFS and related reconciliation and financial control processes. The successful candidate will also support ad hoc activity for delivery to the GFS Leadership Office.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Delivering the month end process, including the monthly FTE reconciliation process, recharge journals and monthly accruals; analysis of costs to ensure accuracy of reporting; and monthly MI to GFS DFD.
  • Supporting the forecasting of FTE and costs for GFS at key planning periods, including building and operating an efficient framework to consolidate overall GFS position.
  • Collaborating closely with GFS HOFs and Central Finance FBPs to ensure the latest view of cost and FTE is understood and communicated appropriately.
  • System approval of workday and beeline requisitions.
  • Delivering ad hoc requests to support the GFS Leadership Office.
  • Developing personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.
  • Proactively identifying improvements to existing processes and procedures, including driving continuous improvement initiatives and automation opportunities.

What you’ll need:
  • Accountancy qualification/part qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
  • Passion for Financial control and questioning mindset.
  • Attention to detail.
