Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available in Group Capital Management team in GCT. This opportunity has arisen due to a colleague moving internally within the Group.

You'll be joining a diverse team, in a fast-paced environment, with a huge scope of opportunities to learn how we work in Group Corporate Treasury. The Group Capital Management team covers a broad scope of work, including understanding the drivers and amount of capital needed by the Group to support activity and ensure the right amount of capital is held in the correct entity. The team also manages the capital allocation process which ensures the cost of capital is carefully considered when making business decisions and measuring business unit performance.

You'll be joining a diverse team, in a fast-paced environment, with a huge scope of opportunities to learn how we work in Group Corporate Treasury. The Group Capital Management team covers a broad scope of work, including understanding the drivers and amount of capital needed by the Group to support activity and ensure the right amount of capital is held in the correct entity. The team also manages the capital allocation process which ensures the cost of capital is carefully considered when making business decisions and measuring business unit performance.
Are you interested in the workings of the Treasury function and possess a strong desire to learn – if so, this role could be a perfect opportunity to join Group Corporate Treasury. Technical experience in not a pre-requisite as you will be provided with full education and training. You must have a desire to learn and have a passion for bringing data and numbers to life with insightful analysis and recommendations. The role includes interaction with all the areas within GCT as well as with Divisions and Group Finance so you will also get the opportunity to develop stakeholder management skills and expand your network.
The initial focus of the role will be to support the capital allocation side of the team and you will be learning from colleagues with many decades of working within capital management and wider treasury and financial management.
