We have an exciting assistant manager opportunity to support the expansion of our CFO Programme across Europe, Middle East aand Africa (EMEA). Our Next Generation CFO Academy has been designed to help senior finance leaders navigate the next step in their career and prepare for the diverse responsibilities of the CFO role. Since launching the programme in 2008, over 1,400 aspiring CFOs, all nominated by their group CFO, have taken part.

The EMEA CFO Academy assistant manager will be responsible for supporting the management and delivery of the Next Generation CFO Academy and ongoing network across EMEA CFO Programmes. Working with stakeholders across EMEA and part of a passionate team, the role would suit someone who enjoys project management and has strong stakeholder management and communication skills. It is a fascinating role, supporting our most significant clients across EMEA and our senior partners in building strong, lasting relationships.

This role requires you to support the end-to-end project management for our Next Generation CFO Academies including recruiting participants and senior board speakers, creating high-impact communications, managing the budget and finance processes and keeping our participant database up to date.

You will also nurture our internal community of CFO Programme managers working across EMEA to support with the recruitment of participants and their ongoing alumni experience.

The role will require you to work with senior clients and their assistants and build strong relationships with our many stakeholders.

You will also coordinate logistics with Deloitte University and venues for the Academy including being the point of contact, managing the relationship and escalating issues as required. Experience with supporting the creation of programme content, communications, and marketing materials is key to success in this role

Essential:

  • Strong project manager with experience in managing multiple stakeholders with conflicting demands
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written) - ability to manage, influence and communicate with internal stakeholders and external business partners
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Experience of managing high-impact events
  • A pro-active team player - willing to step outside of immediate remit
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

Desirable:

  • Passion and interest in the finance agenda and client challenges

Personal independence
