Job description
The Team
KPMG’s dedicated Betting and Gaming specialists within its Consulting practice apply regulatory experience across a range of areas to help clients and regulators generate better outcomes in gambling markets. We work across KPMG’s global gaming network.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the KPMG team as an Assistant Manager in Gibraltar.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in projects with some supervision from an Associate Director. S/he will have a major role in ensuring that any client work will be delivered to the highest standards in both content and form.
The work will involve consulting on all areas of regulatory compliance in the gambling sector, particularly anti-money laundering and social responsibility / safer gambling. S/he will become acquainted with the gambling regulatory requirements in Gibraltar, the UK and further afield. A large part of the role will entail drafting reports, discussions with client stakeholders and interpreting requirements.
Depending on the nature of the assignment, s/he will manage project teams of around one to three people, fostering a collaborative spirit and culture of respect, or may work on projects under the Associate Director. S/he may work on more than one project at a time, ensuring s/he remains organised. S/he will maintain a positive attitude when the team is under pressure, supporting other team members when they face challenging situations.
The successful applicant will develop their external network and will be able to seek opportunities outside the gambling sector. S/he will also quickly develop a strong internal network with KPMG experts in related fields or based in other countries.
