Ben’s Yard is a new artisan retail village opening in the spring of 2023. Founded by Alastair & Victoria Morbey, Ben’s Yard specialises in delivering an environment of wellbeing and mindfulness and is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience whatever the occasion.
The assistant manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, coffee shop and larder with full training provided.
The successful candidate will be an experienced assistant manager with excellent communication and organisational skills; a strong team player who will be able to demonstrate delivery of genuine team motivation and customer care along with use of determined initiative and self-awareness.
As a family owned and operated venture, we recognise the importance of family and personal time. The role offers a 40 hour contract almost entirely, but not exclusively, for daytime working with our standard operating hours between 7am and 7pm.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in hospitality management.
- Preferable kitchen experience.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Health & safety awareness.
