NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to assist the Finance Manager with the preparation, review and publication of accurate, relevant and timely management information, which provides an insight into business performance and assists decision making.
The Assistant Management Accountant will successfully achieve company, team and individual goals and objectives relating to the areas of financial, management and project information.
To provide financial support to the senior management of the business as required enhancing decision making and providing an overview of the current and projected performance of the division.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Assist in developing and operating an effective, relevant and dynamic management accounts system and process including daily/weekly/monthly KPI’s, P&L and Balance Sheet reporting with commentary.
- Play a supporting role in the monthly financial close process, ensuring all deadlines are met and a consistent approach is applied, in line with management reporting rules.
- Provide effective business reporting to improve the existing information systems and data management.
- Assist in the cash collection and working capital especially with regards to WIP and debt.
- Provide accurate spend information in particular open purchase commitments to allow accurate cost accruals to be calculated, including preparation and maintenance of accruals spread sheets
- Play a key role in the production annual budgets quarterly re-forecasting, resulting in the delivery of figures that highlight future performance, assumptions and risks inherent in the compilation of those figures.
- Some travel may require to other NG Bailey offices.
You will have:
- Finance / Business related Degree (2:1 or higher)
- Working towards accountancy qualification
- Strong commercially focussed finance experience
- Excellent at data manipulation and presentation skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Attention to detail, take pride in the quality and accuracy of their work
- Confident working under pressure
- Ability to challenge processes and approach to deliver efficiencies
- Positive, can-do, no blame attitude
