Your New Role As Assistant Management Accountant:
Working within an established team, this varied and interesting role will report to the finance manager. As and Assistant Management Accountant you shall provide ongoing support throughout the month end routine, whilst also providing analysis and reporting to add value to the commercial decision making process.
Main role duties:
- Support in the preparation of monthly management accounting and related reporting
- Ongoing maintenance and management of key KPI data, this includes having an eye on the ledger close, ensuring accuracy across all areas of data provided
- Support with statutory audit requirements
- Liaison across stakeholders to development and enhance the understanding across key business processes and monthly updates on financial positions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- KPI management
- Assist and identify areas of development across financial controls and procedures to streamline process
- Production of analysis and ongoing management of large volumes of complex data
- Develop business relationships across the group to form partnerships in other departments
- Assist in the preparation the of the units P&L ensuring accuracy across management reporting
- Other Adhoc projects

Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
As Assistant Management Accountant you will have the opportunity to use your experience & initiative in a varied role within an established team. To be considered you shall be a part-qualified accountant (CIMA ACA ACCA) with experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role. With strong technical ability, and the aptitude as a self starter who can work on your own initiative, you shall also have strong communication skills and be competent with the use of Excel. With experience of management accounting preparation and the month end routine, you shall also have experience of working with data to analyse trends.
