We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Human Resources Manager to join us at The Dilly, a Leonardo Royal Hotel. Reporting to the Cluster HR Manager, you would provide quality HR coaching, guidance and support for The Dilly, and support the Group HR team in all areas of delivering the HR strategy.
Here are some of the role’s key responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection: Getting the right people is key to our success! You'll be supporting end-to-end recruitment processes, coaching line managers and maximising our employer brand
- Compliance: Getting the basics right is really important to us. This includes maintaining personnel files and complying with right to work and National Minimum Wage legislations
- Learning and Development: We are so proud of our Learning and Development programmes; you'll be key in supporting the delivery of new starter induction
- Payroll: Our line managers take first responsibility for ensuring their team’s working hours are processed correctly, however the HR team are responsible for processing weekly/monthly payroll
- Employee Relations: You'll provide coaching to line managers so that they are confident on best practise
- Engagement: We have our very own company app and a recognition platform to keep in touch with each other! You'll direct employees to information on benefits as appropriate and support the delivery of our company wellbeing strategy
If you're our ideal Assistant Human Resources Manager, you will:
- Be yourself!
- Have up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation with the ability to apply this into best HR practise
- Enjoy working alongside multiple teams of people and be confident advising and coaching at different levels of the business
- Have previous experience delivering training
- Be confident in using computer systems, from payroll to our employee app
