An exciting opportunity has arisen in the HR Business Partner team for an Assistant HR Adviser (Band 5).
The role is key in building people management capacity and capability across the Trust, through the provision of sound, risk based expert HR advice and coaching / support to line managers, in all aspects of employment, including terms and conditions of service and employee relations matters. The main focus of this role is supporting managers with effective sickness absence management and first level disciplinary issues.
The role requires a strong customer focus, excellent organisational skills, personal resilience attention to detail and a positive attitude.
You will be expected to deal with issues in a proactive and consistent manner, communicating professionally and appropriately with people at all levels of the organisation and build effective working relationships with the managers that you support.

The hours for this post are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

It is essential that you have experience of actively supporting and advising managers on sickness absence cases.You will have proven recent generalist HR knowledge and experience, as well as up to date knowledge of employment law and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and analytical skills.
