Job description
Assist the Healthcare Cleaning Operations Manager in planning, managing, developing, and controlling the Healthcare soft services. Lead the soft service and frontline management team to achieve financial and performance targets in terms of productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Promote a culture of service excellence and maintain positive employee relations through effective communication, training, and leadership practices.
Key Communications and Working Relationships: Internal: Colleagues, Patients, Clients, and Trust Employees. External: General Public, Suppliers, and Subcontractors.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff, ensuring effective performance.
- Support the Healthcare Cleaning Operations Manager in implementing the National Cleaning Standards 2021.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage resources to meet service demand while achieving financial targets.
- Set and evaluate objectives and targets outlined in the business plan.
- Implement quality monitoring, reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Minimize KPI penalties and ensure tasks are completed within SLA.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Recruit and train staff, ensuring compliance with induction and training.
- Implement appropriate HR policies and maintain a safe working environment.
- Handle incidents and complaints according to procedures.
- Participate in the development of the overall service provision.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and training programs.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested within the post's grade.
