Assistant Head of Student Experience and Operations
Salary from £39,313 to £47,148 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £50,614 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term or secondment appointment until 31 March 2026

The Assistant Head of Student Experience and Operations will play a key role in supporting both the Head of Student Experience and Operations directly, and colleagues across LSE Careers more widely, to maintain and develop existing and ongoing work within the service as well as drive forward a number of strategic projects critical to the delivery of our goals and our contribution towards the School’s Educate for Global Impact (EGI) priorities.
You will have delegated responsibility for oversight of areas/work within the Student Experience and Operations team and operate collaboratively with team managers to coordinate ongoing delivery, development and review and will also work on supporting and coordinating annual, new and developmental projects.
Candidates should have:
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan own workload and that of others, and to be agile when priorities change
- Experience of maintaining and developing strong working relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to provide leadership, direction and motivation to colleagues not under own supervision.
LSE is a campus-based university and staff are expected to attend the London campus in fulfilling their role. Most staff balance working from the campus or remotely.
