We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Group Financial Controller.
The role of the Assistant Group Financial Controller is rudimentary and requires excellent knowledge and communication skills to ensure a smooth operation.
You will support, and report to our Group Financial Controller.

Candidate Duties
Duties:
- Managing day to day banking processes and transactions, including monthly pay run
- Assisting with cash management , including cashflow forecast
- Monthly balance sheet, P & L and Trial Balance reconciliation
- Reconciling accounts with different external stakeholders (credit facilities, HMRC PAYE /NI, suppliers and customers)
- Assisting to monitor budget and KPI
- Help with any ad hoc reporting required by Management
- Assisting to prepare year end accounts and audit
- Assisting R & D tax credit and other grants reporting
- Assisting board packs preparation
- Help with Statutory Compliance Globally
- Supporting Group Financial Controller during month end and assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly management reports
- Collaborating with Finance Team in India
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified/Part Qualified as an Accountant
- Strong Analytical skills
- Banking Experience
- Payroll calculation experience
- 2+ years of experience in similar role
- Month end closing Experience
- SME experience (preferred)
- An eye for detail
- Advanced skills in Excel
- Successful completion of a test to assess competencies

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
