The Britannia is Richmond’s busiest and best Gastro Pub / Restaurant and due to extraordinary growth over the last few years we now need an Exceptional Assistant General Manager to help us get to the next step.
We may look like little from the street however we have 160 covers laid out of two floors, a garden at the rear and a roof terrace. During the warmer months we offer an unrivalled al fresco dining experience within the town and the consistent quality of our service and food and drink offer mean we are now one of Open Tables Top 100 venues in the country.
Food defines the Brit.; we only use the best ingredients and cook them in a simple yet delicious manner. Our suppliers range from Macken’s Bros in Chiswick, Colchester oysters, Wings of St Mawes amongst others and this means that we get the best Dry aged Angus Beef, phenomenal Shellfish and incredibly fresh day boat fish.
Our wine list is one of a kind in the area. We have over 200 bins on the list, ranging from entry level to over £300 per bottle. A working knowledge of European wine is essential as a major part of your role will be educating the team and advising the guests as to wine matches
We are developing our Spring menu at present and you would be expected to be a vital part of testing products and training the team with the new dishes. We also run daily specials and our fish offer constantly changes due to what is available and so you would constantly be part of creating drinks matches to these new dishes on a daily basis.
