Ballie Ballerson is looking for an Assistant General Manager. Ballie opened as a pop up in 2016, and following unprecedented success moved to a 600 person venue in Shoreditch, and with private equity backing we opened a new venue in Edinburgh, having further expansion plans going into 2023.
For this role you must have a genuine passion for drinks, customer service and getting the best from your team. You will be ambitious and have the commitment and energy required to succeed in this growing company.
Job Description
- Oversee the operations of the venue supporting the General Manager.
- Co-Managing a team of 50 staff, in a 600-person venue ensuring there is good vibes and a positive culture.
- Strong finance skills: cashing up and willing to learn how to read P&L & site forecasts
- Ensuring all patrons have a world-class experience no matter how busy the venue is.
- Training your team to ensure brand standards are maintained and H&S procedures are followed strictly.
- Executing the styled events as per the Marketing events calendar
- Meet the business targets by creating structured plans with the Management team to drive revenue and reduce costs, ultimately hitting EBITDA targets and receiving your bonus.
