The Role:This is an amazing opportunity to join the hush Garment Technology team; a fabulous group of people focused on ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality garments to our lovely customers. This role would suit individuals with a solid grounding in garment technology processes focused on furthering their technical skills within fashion retail production; keen to learn and develop in a fast-paced but nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:- Working within the softs woven team from development through to production of the product; liaising where necessary with the relevant product teams.
- Support and work with the senior tech in fit meetings in order to develop fitting skills.
- Support the senior tech by prepping samples, taking fit comments during the fit process.
- Uploading comments onto PLM creating tech packs for suppliers.
- Managing the testing, shipment and AQL documents.
- Participating with the wider technical team on shared projects and training to deliver the business objectives.
- Great organisation skills are essential.
- Be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Have working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills – build and manage relationships with colleagues and suppliers, being open and honest in communications.
- Enjoy working in a close team but also the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
