Job description
Working with an experienced gardener on a mixture of privately owned properties and commercial land, candidates will need to be enthusiastic, have an interest in gardening, resilient as work can be physically demanding and flexible with time due to weather conditions and seasons.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) use of grasscutters, strimmers, hedge-cutters among other tools; an element of hard landscaping (eg. mixing concrete, laying curbs, erecting fences, etc); weeding; pruning; clearing waste from work carried out. Onsite training can be providing, experience is preferred.
Work times and quantity are dependent on season and weather conditions, and will be subject to the main Gardener, therefore good communication is key.
We're primarily looking for a hard-working, trust-worthy, enthusiastic and personable individual who will be punctual and flexible. The individual must like dogs.
Full UK Drivers License is NOT required however, the individual must have their own transport to get to main work site.
CVs will be reviewed and subject to applicant success, trial periods can be arranged.
All COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions will be adhered to, including distancing, and the use of masks, where appropriate; subject to success of the applicant, this will be discussed further in an interview.
