30 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Permanent role
The role will be based in the Wayside House office, but home working will be the majority proportion of the position. The 30 hours will be spread across the working week, Monday to Friday.

The post holder will:
Ensure that corporate tax returns are accurate, completed to a high professional standard and submitted in accordance with Government and statutory deadlines.
Support the Technical Accountant by carrying out administration for calculating and accounting for non-cash working capital areas, including provisions and stocks.
Produce accurate Financial Information and reports on a monthly basis in accordance with Trust timescales.
Support the Financial Accountant - Capital with asset register and ledger processing.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or have equivalent experience knowledge.
The postholder will have extensive financial accounting and financial year-end exercise experience, together with knowledge of HMRC VAT regulations together with recent experience in control account reconciliation. The postholder will have specialist knowledge of NHS financial regime, policies and procedures and be able to interpret national NHS guidelines and directives.
The postholder will have advanced keyboard skills and be proficient in use of Excel and other Microsoft packages and have substantial experience in use of computerised finance systems and associated feeder modules. The postholder will have a flexible approach, be able to work on own initiative, able to work as part of a team and be able to prioritise tasks and focus on key requirements.
