Whether it’s saving, spending or borrowing, we want to help our personal and business customers navigate through their individual journey. We look for ways to tailor our products and services to recognise that different customers need different things from us. We focus on helping our customers, and being ready to provide support with expertise when they need it, putting things right when they go wrong.
The Retail Finance Division is at the heart of Lloyds Banking Group's strategy to “Help Britain Prosper”. This role is in the Reporting Operations part of the team where you'll be responsible for regular month end tasks such as journals and production of reports to aid the month end process.

Product Reporting & Information (PRI) plays an integral role in the communication of monthly reporting to the Retail Finance Leadership team. We work closely with the Analysis and Insight team to ensure the Business Partners for each product have the information and analysis they require to help them partner the business effectively.
We support 5 key products (Mortgages, Savings, Personal Current Accounts, Credit Cards and Loans) and operate a dynamic resourcing structure that allows exposure to all BU’s. Our colleagues benefit from a wide-ranging view of part of the Retail business, which provides an excellent opportunity to increase your breadth of knowledge across the businesses.
What you'll be doing.
Reporting into the Reporting Operations Senior Manager, you'll work towards delivering month end reporting for all Consumer Banking and Consumer Finance products. You'll prepare standard and complex journals to general ledger ensuring high levels of financial control, through reconciliations, and structured outputs that are compliant with Group Minimum Standards (GMS). You'll also assist in the delivery of prescribed monthly management accounts to provide assurance for Consumer Relationships and Consumer Lending products.
Additionally we'll look for you to;
- Conduct research into actuals using a wide variety of existing processes and procedures to interpret data and identify possible trends.
- Implement a robust control environment over inputs and outputs – developing standard methodology which aligns with audit requirements and rolling out across the reporting teams.
- Build a wide network of contacts across Finance to better understand the customer transaction journey through to ledger to enable swift resolution to ledger investigations and aid collaboration.
What we're looking from you.
- Ideally you'll be studying toward a finance qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA etc).
- You'll be able to operate flexibly across PRI to deliver prioritised activity, including supporting strategic projects.
- You'll respond to individual and team objectives and will invest in improving personal performance by growing own skills and capabilities, coaching others when required.
We're dedicated to giving you opportunities and support to develop you both professionally and personally to optimise your potential! As a new colleague to the team, you’ll join us on our journey to build a 21st century bank that reflects modern Britain and craft an inclusive culture where all colleagues feel encouraged and valued. We're also passionate about diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. And, being disability positive, reasonable adjustments can be accommodated in our Recruitment process, just let us know.
You'll also receive;
- A competitive salary.
- A discretionary bonus.
- Private medical insurance.
- Pension contributions up to a maximum of 15% of your salary.
- Share plans.
- 28 days paid holiday each year, plus Bank Holidays.
If you're excited by this role please apply as we'd love to hear from you.
