Assistant Facility Administrator
Department Manager: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

● Assist with daily operations and continued maintenance of campus dorms, commercial properties, and equipment.

● Communicate and interface with internal and external parties, including, but not limited to students, vendors, service providers, staff, faculties, and tenants.

● Additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

● 3-5 years of related experience in facility and home maintenance.

● A valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

● Must be available for after-hours and weekend hours for emergencies if needed.

● Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

● Has advanced plumbing, painting, electrical knowledge.

● Hands on landscaping and carpentry skills required.

● Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work well with little to no supervision, and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

● Must be able to pass the basic hand and power tools safety test.

● Proficient with computers, email, Microsoft Word, and Excel Spreadsheet.

● Highly organized and very detail oriented.

● Critical thinking skill is a must.

● A willingness to take on additional tasks as the situation arises.

● Basic Mathematic skill is required.

Physical Characteristics:

● Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

● The employee is required to crouch, walk, crawl, bend, reach, stoop, carry, and push.

● The employee is required to climb ladders and sit or stand for long periods.

Salary range: $27-$29/hr plus benefits
