Job description
The University of Sheffield is seeking an Assistant Energy Analyst to join the Energy Team and support the management and reduction of energy consumption and carbon emissions towards the aims set out within the Sustainability Strategy.
Reporting to the Energy Manager, you will be assisting the energy management team to seek trends in energy and water consumption, analysing data and accurately presenting findings in innovative and visual ways. Through this, you will assist the Energy Team to identify opportunities for improving the energy performance of the estate and will gather specific information related to energy and water consumption, either through metering systems or portable energy, water, temperature and light metres.
As a candidate you will need to be thorough and have excellent IT and numeracy skills. You will be a good communicator with an ability to form good working relationships with a wide range of people within the University.
