Job description
The incumbent will act as the key liaison to the media for Men’s Basketball, as well as 1-2 other Olympics sports. Develop and write press releases as well as game programs and work with local and national media for assigned programs. Generating feature content, video and other unique coverage for UBBulls.com, the official website of UB Athletics.

- Work with communications staff to maintain the development and creation of the Division of Athletics website.
- Develop and write press releases as well as game programs and recruiting brochures for assigned athletic programs. Provide a large amount of material for the University at Buffalo’s Athletics web site.
- Assist in the promotion of all UB Athletic teams.
- Travel with the Men’s Basketball team to away contests.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One year of experience in sports information, public relations or communications.
- An ability to relate well to others and an understanding of basic principles of communications and public relations is required.
- Knowledge of Basketball, Soccer and Softball rules and statistics.
- Must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite as well as Statcrew Statistical Software.
