We’re looking for a motivated marketer with strong digital experience to join the Scottish Widows B2B marketing team. Working from our office in Edinburgh you’ll help drive digital best practice in the department playing a crucial role in the delivery of our social media marketing.
Key Accountabilities:
- Clearly demonstrate and apply the LBG vision and values through the campaign management process and in daily conduct
- You will be the point of best practice in developing digital marketing campaigns and championing digital marketing within the wider marketing team
- Develop, deliver, and support the marketing coms team in a broad range of marketing campaigns for our customers (which includes Financial Advisers, Employers and consumers) taking into account customer and market insights, external and regulatory environments.
- You'll work closely with our strategic creative agencies and our media agency from brief through to delivery, to develop on brand communications that meeting the needs of the business
- You will inject fresh ideas, perspective and creativity into campaigns and communications initiatives
- Ensure all campaigns and communication collateral is delivered on brand, meets customer’s needs and adheres to the principles of Treating Customers Fairly
- You'll engage internal and external customers to shape and deliver campaigns, ensuring communications achieve their objectives
- Conduct post campaign reviews and campaign tracking and where necessary use results to support continuous improvement within the team
- Grow and maintain relevant network of contacts both internally and externally to support business delivery.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Essential:
- You'll have demonstrable knowledge of digital campaign management with experience in paid social media and email campaigns
- You will have gained experience delivering marketing campaigns on time, accurately and within budget
- You will bring strong analytical skills, including being able to identify insights from our marketing data
- You'll have the ability to simplify digital marketing concepts to help up-skill colleagues and senior management as appropriate
Desirable:
- Strong digital marketing knowledge including best practice principles for website, social media, email, digital display and content marketing
- Sound understanding of campaign management and communication delivery processes
- Copy writing skills and creative thinking
- Experience with social media management tools
- Experience using design tools such as photoshop are a bonus
Location & Ways of Working:
Our team works out of our Edinburgh hub, therefore we'll need you to be based a commutable distance from this area. We work in a hybrid model, splitting your time between working from home and 2 Days in the office.
