Contract: Full Time
Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE

Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Data Analyst at Splendid Hospitality. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to support the Data and IT Manager in delivering accurate, timely and informative reports and insight to help drive business decisions. This role allows you to partner with all aspects of the business, deriving insights from our data and presenting this back to inform our leaders. This role is fundamental to our growth and ability to change and react quickly and the work you do will impact on our direction and decisions.

Role in our Family
This is an overview of role and duties (will include but not be limited to):
- Be the first point of contact for any data issues/errors where the data team provides support.
- Checking entries are accurate and processes in place are being followed accurately.
- Creating and maintaining record of system processes.
Data Analysis
- Support with the manual elements of daily, weekly and monthly reports for various departments.
- Maintaining reports to ensure they are clean, tidy and up-to-date.
- Enhance data-driven decision-making within the company by developing and maintaining key business reports that enable stakeholders to self-serve regular queries.
- Build good working relations with all immediate colleagues and those across the wider business.
- Experience with Microsoft Suites, with an affinity for MS Excel.
- Interested in learning new concepts and willing to seek and learn them as well as being enthusiastic about building and improving current reporting.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytic results and models to a non-technical audience.
- A genuine interest and enjoyment in deep involvement in data.
- Experience and aptitude in coding languages is desirable (SQL, Python, R).
- Experience creating data visualisation (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, PivotCharts etc)
