Job description
We are seeking an assistant psychologist to work within the South Kirklees Core Team: a large and diverse multi-disciplinary Adult Community Mental Health Team. The Core Team, in conjunction with the Trauma Informed Personality Disorder Pathway, aims to provide trauma-informed care to individuals with complex mental health and interpersonal needs. We offer both individual and group psychological interventions including CBT, ACT, compassion focussed, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, EMDR and integrative approaches, and have established DBT and SCM pathways.
As part of the selection process, we would like candidates to write an essay of no more than 500 words on How would you define trauma and how might past experiences affect an individuals current well-being?.
