Job description
A small childminders in West Kensington London in need to assistants caring for children between 6months- 10 years. Tuesday- Thursday 9am- 6pm, must be over the age of 17 to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and school assignments, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and ensuring the safety of the space
- Follow parents' instructions regarding schedules, routines, and any specific care needs for the children
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the children's activities, behavior, and any concerns or updates
Skills:
- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and responsibly
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred but not required
