The Role
We are looking for an Assistant Building Manager to assist with the management of a newly renovated prestigious office building in Bristol City Centre. Working with our Facilities Management team you will be expected to assist the building manager manage all hard, and soft services within the building whilst continually innovating the client and tenant experience.
To be successful in this role good solid customer service skills are required. This role is ideal for somebody who has Front of House Skills but is looking to gain Facilities Management or Building Management skills as full training is provided.
This is a great opportunity to work with the Building Manager and put your stamp on a newly renovated prestigious office building right in the heart of Bristol City Centre.
Main Duties.
- Ensuring the safety of the building's occupants and visitors
- Ensure the security of the building
- Monitoring of CCTV system
- Providing the main initial contact for visitors, contractors and tenants to the building
- Liaison with Tenants on a day-to-day basis offering an efficient friendly interface
- Organise regular tenant activities and events in conjunction with local businesses.
- Continually evaluate our offering to tenant and innovate the front of house experience for the tenants in the building
- Handle and coordinate potential viewings of vacant space
- Regulate (and monitor) the facilities to meet ALL regulations and guidelines ensuring that the premises are in compliance with all applicable legislations
- Handle any problems / complaints from the occupants effectively
- Assist with updating occupiers regarding maintenance and compliance issues
- Assist with coordinating building maintenance and repairs
- Attend and coordinate tenant meetings
- Monitor the performance of all contractors working on site
- Maintaining records regarding all mandatory and non-mandatory inspections
- Operation of the building management system
- Assist with developing and implementing site emergency procedures
- Carrying out building inspections and assemble a prioritized reactive maintenance list
- Advising on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Assemble regular and ad hoc reports as required by the client.
- Site meter reads
- Management of site via CAFM systems
- Stock and order of any required materials and consumables
· Any other duties deemed to be within your capabilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
