Job description
A position has recently become available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our site in Warrington.
The ideal candidate must have previous delivery and warehouse experience, preferably in distribution however this is not essential.
Forklift experience, with use of both Counter balance and Reach Truck forklifts is essential.
A general day will consist of loading your van, making multi-drop deliveries, picking orders, unloading deliveries, loading pallets onto transport vehicles and general maintenance of the warehouse.
A Full UK driving licence is required for use of Company vans.
Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Job Duties:
- Multi-Drop deliveries
- Wrapping pallets, loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload lorries in a safe and efficient manner
- Move and stack materials
- Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
- Merchandising Stock
- Stock Control
- General level of fitness as manual lifting required
- Covering duties in busy periods
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse
- Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
