Position Summary
The Nestlé Nutrition & Dairy team is recruiting a talented Assistant Brand Manager who will join our dynamic category. The Assistant Brand Manager will be assisting in the creation and execution of brilliant marketing plans to achieve our growth ambitions in the UK&I. In this exciting role you will support the brand manager’s in executing and optimising the marketing mix, building long and short-term plans to build the brands and to reach, win and retain new consumers.

A day in the life of an Assistant Brand Manager
Your responsibilities could include:
  • PFME management of cross-brand budgets
  • Managing artwork changes for Innovation and Renovation projects
  • Taking part in the I2L process ensuring that key actions are taken and delivered on time for Innovation/renovation projects
  • Supporting the brand managers on various marketing initiatives and activities as required
  • Assisting with Integrated commercial planning and delivery
  • Assisting with creative brand shoots
  • Supporting the brand managers with the creation of assets for a variety of different omnichannel platforms
  • Assist in the digitalisation of the brands via Instagram & META
  • Own sales & cross functional brand related queries
  • Monitoring market movements, trends, and opportunities to feed directly into long term planning
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing with preparing for quarterly business reviews
  • Analysing campaign performance and deliverables
  • Owning the end-to-end sample ordering process for both brand managers, sales and customers.

What will make you successful
The successful candidate will have brand/marketing experience. They will possess a strong passion for consumer insight and have a good understanding of the retail/shopper landscape within the UK market. They will be capable of managing a wide number of stakeholders and priorities whilst influencing with confidence.

They will also:
  • Have prior marketing experience (preferably within the food industry)
  • Be proactive, collaborative & determined
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to find creative solutions
  • Have a can-do attitude and be willing to embrace change

Please note that prior marketing/brand experience is desirable but not essential. We are also willing to accept candidates who have had exposure to a commercial environment and are potentially looking for a career change.
