The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Bar Manager to join our talented Artesian team. Artesian Bar is at the forefront of the sophisticated London bar scene. The relaxed, friendly environment of Artesian is combined with experimental cocktails that are not seen in any other bar in London.
In the role of Assistant Bar Manager, your key focus will be to:
- support the Bar Manager in achieving business results
- demonstrate a real understanding of achieving and maintaining quality through effective service management
- lead a team that is genuine in delivering service excellence
- assist in managing and developing the Artesian team
- assist with the achievement of departmental KPI results
- support the Departmental Trainer in conducting all on-the-job training for all colleagues to ensure all Company standards are adhered to
- ensure that licensing laws and health and safety matters are adhered to
Do you have? -
- similar experience in a luxury 5* hotel
- passion for and excellent knowledge of food, beverage and service
- the ability to work under pressure
- the ability to lead by example and motivate a strong team
- the ability adapt swiftly and seamlessly to situations that arise
- confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
- good communication skills and very good level of English
