Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as necessary to ensure proper baking
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment regularly
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a baker in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and consistently produce high-quality baked goods
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
