Mervyn Stewart are pleased to announce, due to continuing growth within the group, we are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Aftersales Manager who has both Service & Parts experience, with first class customer service skills. This role will cover MG, Suzuki and Skoda across our North Down Division.
In every aspect of our retailing, the aim is always to exceed customer expectation and so customer care is of paramount importance. You will be leading from the front to ensure that our customers receive the best possible Aftersales experience.
Communication is key within our dealership, not only to ensure a 5-star customer experience but to build solid working relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
About The Role
This is an exciting and exceptional opportunity for a pro-active and enthusiastic individual looking for progression into an Aftersales Management role to join the Mervyn Stewart team. A proven track record in all aspects of After Sales will be needed with a minimum 2 years experience in an Aftersales department within a franchised car dealership. Excellent communication, organizational and team building skills and a high level of commercial awareness will be required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the head of aftersales for North Down Division the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and day to day activity of the Service & Parts department
- Effective stock management to provide an efficient service to our workshop as well as our trade/retail customers
- To support the efficient and profitable operation of the Service & Parts department.
- Developing relationships and providing great product knowledge and creating an exceptional customer experience
- Supporting the Service department with the booking of customer vehicles in for service, maintenance and repairs liaising with the workshop team to manage daily workload.
- Ensure all aspects of the aftersales processes are carried out effectively and to the manufacturers requirements, this will include retail, internal and warranty jobs.
- A full and valid UK driving licence will be required
This is a dual role and the ideal candidate will have previously worked as a Service or Parts Advisor and looking to take their first step into management.

Required Criteria
- A full and valid UK driving Licence
- Excellent customer service record
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an Aftersales department within a franchised car dealership
- Effective operation of Dealer Management Software
- Demonstrate ability to be a great team player
- Great communication skills
