We have an exciting new role available for an Assistant Accountant to assist our Management Accountant with month end procedures, providing financial information and monitoring grant claims, business partnering with departmental heads and providing cover for other functions within the Finance department.
With a good general education including GCSE Maths (A*-C) and AAT Level 3, you will have excellent organisation and planning skills and the experience of budgeting and accounting processes.
Responsibilities will include assist in the preparation of the College budget and monitoring specific sections of the budget including regular effective liaison with departmental Managers. You will also assist with the bank reconciliation process and liaise with internal and external auditors. Operation of all responsibilities will be in line with the College Financial Regulations.
The salary for this post is up to £30,473.
